Hmm... Hi peoplez! I'm actually currently breaking my promise to use computer for studies now.. Couldnt resist blogging because I havent done so for like 1 week so I'll have to make it short (hopefully)...

Summary of last week (and earlier week)...

Received the post-June XP messages that each person was supposed to write about how they feel about another person after XP. (Like what they did wrong, what to improve on, encouragement etc.)

95% of all the post-XP messages I received said I was too quiet and that I kept packing my backpack during XP. (This I already shot myself in earlier posts...) So I'm putting their advice into practise and I realise I'm actually fitting in a whole lot more in ODAC now. As in like, people actually talked to me.. Ok.. so maybe I appear anti-social but I think this barrier is breaking apart. Yay!~~~

I believe the same thing is happening to my class too. I seem to fit in more now. Kinda happy... not so "segregated" anymore.. But I made the same fatal "I'm-too-quiet" attitude during Cherlynn's B-Day which was celebrated at Island Creamery 2 weeks ago. But was still very fun...
Cher had cake smashed into her face a no. of times within the 2 days on and after her B-Day.. Blessed to have more than 1 cake but cursed to have pimple outbreak the following days after.. Bright side though, the cake wasn't totally ruined.. Haha. Saw them cut a slice of cake and smashed a piece on her face when she was already cautious. Lol. Then Kian oso got smashed a bit by a surprise ambush frm Damian during Island Creamery. Lol. Damian's ambush was flawless. Too bad, Kian was too fast for that. In e end, Damian paid BIG time for trying to do that... Funny. Kian How also did smth sweet for Cher's B-Day present... shall not say what he did 4 her. ** (^^>)> **

Oh yeah... 2nd achievement was breaking the lvl -1 speed for 18 rounds (1:40 per lap). Yaya! Since another msg from ODAC was that I look at things too seriously and that I should have a MORE POSITIVE mindset, I follow suit and realised that running after all wasn't that hard.. Mental strength was the key to passing them. So on Wed training during 16.07.08 under Mich's day leader I passed my lvl -1 18 rounds.

Really had to thank the usual compt team and the batch again. Although many ppl fall out they still cheered on for me. Dispite some negatives brought about frm that training on that day, I believe they all did great. Log GST was almost perfect. Group D was uber pro! We were like the fastest out of Groups O, D, A, C. We already strategized how to move up and down fast and we were like machines on steroids. Really fast!!! Too bad Mr IZ Lim wasn't there during 16.08 training... He probably would have been very impressed. We actually hit the 10min 55sec. Although the target was 10mins, we still managed to hit the "10min"! =)

Oh anyway, the lvl -1 18 laps I clocked 29min 49sec (+1 sec give-or-take). Mr Lim wanted us to clock in in 30mins. Super happy sia.. Like not many ppl finished it yet (I think)... Positive mindset did work after all... =D

Anyway, sad-sad thing was I got detention that week. Was late on 15.08 (Tue) and missed Dyson Road run with ODAC and that was e 3rd time I late for the term already.. (So fast finished all my chances right? So disappointing... =( ) So had to take detention. Result of being late was due to staying up (for the WHOLE WEEK) until 3+am each time to finish the messages, do HW. etc.

Then, pushed all the wayyy for the Wed run therefore happy... Not long after that found out that on Fri training got montage cre8ted by Mr Lim for ODAC to watch.

MONTAGE?!??! (Was abt recent special events happening for our batch.. Heard Mr Lim spent 3 sleepless nights to create it. Includes his B-day celebration!)

So I was gonna miss it for detention...

I felt bad...

Really really bad...

Something so impt and I had to miss it...

I then keep recalling Mr Lim's quote "You don't have to feel bad... Just FEEL BAD."

Thankfully, (by fate / luck or chance) Fri training they watched documentaries of Mount Everest and Astronomy. Somehow they didn't have time to watch the montage which I have no idea why but I'm somehow happy. Anyway detention really sucked to the core cause it was freaking boring... Self study and sleep made up the time there for 4 hrs!!! (frm 3pm to 7pm) Oso had to report to sch early (be4 7.20am) for 5 days. So tmr is gonna be my last day and I have to worry abt when am I going to be late again...

I'm catching the montage this coming Wed so Im definitely gonna enjoy the montage!!! =D

Oh.. Fri training on 18.07.08 (supposed day to watch montage, *Sorry if my dates are all confusing, I'm jumping all around.. =P) morning run did under 30min again but wasnt as fast... Clocked 29min55sec. But still passed below 30mins.

Things were more on e positive side until PTM meeting on Sat. Got shot for ODAC a lot of times and results were just plain bad.. *See earlier post if u cant remember* So 'kana' whacked lah.. Talk to tch for like almost 1hr. Damian had it worse. He basically quarelled with his father for a whole hour at PTM and the teachers were like watching frm the sidelines. Funny though, Yi Xi's PTM was super funny. Practically his PTM was a "take-a-photo-with-Edmund-Chen" session that lated for like 30mins. Yi Xi pratically acted out how some people acted during his PTM (like his guitar ensemble teacher). It went rather smoothly and dignified then (You can't expect a celebrity to flare his temper during a public event right?) Hope his parents still felt happy with his results, he fared better than most of the class. Also overheard that many ODAC-ers also kena shot for ODAC. On 1 of Mr Lim's notices he mentioned:

"Sat got PTM. ODAC says asante (thank-you). You better not say hakuna matana (no problem)."

Well, currently after lots of reflection and shock, found out that Promos are starting in 7 weeks (acc. to Home Tutor) and that if I keep living the way I currently am now, I will prolly fail JC1 and go Poly.. waste 1 friggin' year. Better seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study JC to go University.

So now I trying to kick them bad habits. I'm gonna start trying out studying with ODAC-ers at Study Area after sch. each day (if possible). Seems like I get more distracted at home with either the computer or X-BOX 360 when I'm home. Just like blogging now when I suppose to do EoM.. *You probably don't wanna know why I'm stuck with EoM*

More or less that's all I have to say. If at any time, you find it confusing to read each event, I apologize cause it's like 2300hrs alr and I need to kick my habit of sleeping in class really REALLY BADLY. So I'm gonna reform my life. Please let me pass JC1 Promos with great results. May all temptations be cast aside for this period of time... Please...
