Hehe.. was a rather fun and aching day today.. quite easy to guess where the aching is from.. my ankle. a little swollen.. hope i can recover in time for trainings and more importantly the match..
yea.. ivy's birthday today..
was supposed to wake up at 7 today to do the ivy cover for her birthday.. heh.. ended up waking up at 830.. 'cos was msning rebecca, michael and my classmate till around 1230am.. lol. and the stupid macromedia flash just wouldn't install properly.. so..
yea. was supposed to design the cover and e-mail it to rebecca to print it out before she left for tuition at 9.. 'cos she have the thick paper.. hmm.. 9 i was still reading newspaper.. =/
got down to work only at 930.. reinstalled the thingie.. which took 3 fifa08 games to finish.. that's around 30 minutes just to install something.. lagger.
yea.. took me super long to figure out how to use flash again.. too long never use.. other than the time designing the bunny with rebecca in the library.. lol.. she drew one ear and the foot.. i drew the other ear, body and the arms(which she claim look like flippers) yeah..
was like.. how come the thing will automatic change shape one? the pen i used keep auto-adjusting into something it thinks it should be.. got irritated by it so i just used the paintbrush to draw.. ocd-ed over it for like 1 hour.. printed it out.. and started to see if i can customise the blog in another way.. shall try next time..
i supposed to meet becca at heartland mall at 1230pm.. i lost track of time on the computer msning then was like.. 12.. oh.. 12!? crap. rushed for a short shower changed and rushed off..
lol. told her i'll be late.. like as usual.. forever late.. =X
yea. reached heartland mall at like 1250.. took out my phone to call her 'cos she didn't reply my sms on where she would be.. found out she called me 3 times already.. didn't feel it..
called her.. she said she was at the bubble tea area to level 2.. bubble tea? since when was there a bubble tea in heartland mall? yea.. but she still found me..
went up to precious thoughts to buy ivy's address book.. green. and costed $14.90 .. becca wanted to pay this time.. 'cos she thinks i've been paying too much for everything everytime.. i was like.. ok.. the cashier asked if we wanted to wrap it up.. *ping! lightbulb lights up! idea* i told her to choose.. then she chose.. stood up.. and saw me paying the lady already.. she was like !!.. hmph! yea.. =P
she got all fascinated over the gifts they sell there.. gave me an idea on what to buy for her birthday.. she claims she planned for my birthday already.. which will be during our promos.. she would say it like this everytime.. "but.. but i planned for your birthday already..." it would always get softer whenever she says it.. haha..
yea.. went to eat at the foodcourt/hawker centre outside heartland.. 'cos we getting abit bored of always eating macdonald already.. ate.. was being lame again.. yea.. what's new from me? nothing.. all've been the same for past 16 1/2 years.. random. i didn't say that just now..
before going to collect the cake went to guardian to buy a bandage for my ankle.. was like.. looking at all the different guards they have.. finger guard.. knee guard.. ankle guard.. i didn't like the ankle guard.. not nice.. and becca was scanning for the bandage for me.. and took a step back.. i was like.. !! stop! don't move!! got display behind you!! yea. behind her was this 2 tall columns of yellow box.. no idea what that was.. she froze.. the things were tilting.. i was like.. you heng sia.. then went to adjust it back..
went over to the other shelf to check.. found it.. the small one.. no big one? i wa like.. too small la.. then saw. it was behind the paper shelf.. stupid thing..
what i did next was rather embarrassing.. i walked over to the counter.. saw this guy talking to the manager.. just placed the bandage there.. and started to take money out.. becca was like.. nooo.. counter close.. that side.. ...
left guardian.. that bandage costed me $3.20.. then becca insisted she pay for the cake.. prima deli cake.. heh.. bought a 1kg panda kaya fudge cake for ivy.. 'cos it was 70% green.. her favorite colour.. becca and me ordered the cake on thursday after our gp paper.. (we went to macs for lunch again) yea.. $29!
wrote a message on it.. "happy birthday ivy! boof!" yea.. it turned out to wasn't what i expected.. the whole cake was like 30cm in diameter.. they gave the message on this pathetic piece of white chocolate of around 10 cm in diameter.. i was like.. so empty.. said that right in front of the lady.. lol. she probably didn't hear it.. on the phone..
then becca started to take out her money again.. then i told her.. you smell the cake.. nice or not? she bent over to smell.. i took out my money and paid.. she was like.. !!.. you!!.. haiz..
lol. deicided to buy sprinkles to decorate the cake abit more.. more colourful that way.. we were like.. green.. walked into shop and save(or was it cold storage?) yea.. then i suggested buying green grapes to decorate.. and winter melon.. she almost burst out laughing.. lol. found the sprinkers.. and we both had the same idea at the same time.. "should be separate the green from the rest?" "we will take forever" "just imagine corde saying this:'no! this is not green!'" haha.
she paid for the sprinklers.. claiming she feels cheated for playing $2.20 for it.. went to take 136 to church.. heh.. was about 1.40 already.. then i was like saying.. we're going to be late.. then she showed me this sms. "will be late by twenty.. you take charge first" - roy she was like.. what!? i'm late too! heh. told her imagine if roy reached already and we haven't yet..
anyways.. rushed down to church.. was like 5 minutes late.. and so were everyone else.. what an exco meeting we were having.. yea. she wanted to buy her apple tea.. i wanted my ice lemon tea.. and bought mine.. she then stared at the machine while i was talking to cheryl and joann.. what! no apple tea?? buy ice lemon tea la.. its nice =) never mind.. drink water enough already.. rene then told us the meeting would be in the mother's mary room.. becca and me looked at each other.. mother's mary room.. yea.. we did something stupid in that room and got into trouble recently so.. abit 'paranoid' la?
went in.. started to stick up the ivy vouchers.. becca did the sticking.. i did the cutting.. and bandaged my foot up.. still can remember from odac training =DD
yea.. roy, andre, louis, amanda joined us soon.. i took charge of the youth ministry whacking day project ahead of my sec1 orientation camp.. ... never mind la.. start now.. then no need to get all jumpy during my promos on these 2 projects.. major major ones.. especially the orientation camp.. fully in charge.. camp commander.. .. yea..
meeting ended at around 3.. so had around 1/2hr before we went up for bunny's(year2) session.. stick stick stick.. becca keep sticking wrongly.. especially this one.. which she gave up after i was like.. ... she stick like this.. 2,3,4,5,6,17 and didn't notice..
hopped/limped my way up to 3rd storey 'cos of my bandaged foot.. continued to stick the rest together.. and separate those that were stuck wrongly.. or too slanted.. hid everything behind the chairs just in case ivy sees it when she comes from organ which ends at 4..
session was ok.. keep getting weird looks from roy whenever he sees becca and me have eye contact.. what sia..
session was ok.. around 4.10 roy told us to do up the things 'cos ivy would be coming in soon..
so becca and me escaped to the back into the other room.. (the place was 2 big rooms with a divider in the middle.. we opened it up for our sessions..) so i was like.. quick quick.. we were ocd-ing over the present.. then. door opens.. ivy came in.. becca and me we like holding on to her present and just stared at her.. becca totally like stone like that.. then i pulled it out of her grasp and hid it behind me..
ok... abit fast ar she.. she took less than 20 minutes to get from her organ place to come over here.. i think she saw..
then.. i started wondering.. how on earth are we going to smuggle the cake out out of the room? ivy sat in a way that she was diagonally facing us.. could see us.. then i.. *lightbulb* so many chairs.. use the chairs as shield la.. arranged tall chairs and becca and me hid behind it.. started to sprinkle the sprinkles first.. was quite fun.. becca say i got shaky hands so i should do.. right. yea.. so i sprinkled it around the white chocolate on the surface.. then i was like.. still got where are.. then becca hold my hand and directed my hand to sprinkle.. kinda fun actually.. no not implying anything.. its the sprinkling part only.. come on..
then she thinks there's too much sprinkles on the white chocolate and started to poke them out.. noo.. the words melted already.. so it smudged abit.. never mind.. then we ate up the sprinkles that were stuck to our fingers..
then we heard.. roy: "IVY!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING!!" ivy sneaked up to up to us.. becca and me jumped out to stop her.. she was like trying to see what we doing behind.. then.. it was similar to eagle trying to catch chick but mother hen protect game =DD

then.. stupid comments thrown.. "hey! don't hanky panky behind the chairs la!" "i can see rebecca's head bobbing behind the chairs" "what you both doing sneaking behind the chairs ar?" .. wrong things.. wrong ideas.. becca can only go.. nooo.... then jump jump jump around.. haha..
yea.. then munchkin session ended early today for admin stuff and ivy's surprise at 5.. was waiting for those in triduum choir to end.. ivy keep trying to come over and becca keep trying try to protect the things while i distract her away.. ...
then finally everyone came up.. admin stuff first.. then it was like.. 530 already.. becca keep bouncing and jumping behind to get roy to let us bring the cake in.. roy couldn't stop.. not like he's possessed or something.. important stuff.. and becca i think was getting on sugar high.. so andre came over and told me i just bring the cake out.. he'll hit the lights and just go for it.. then. i lit the candles.. and we chiong.. becca refused to hold the cake 'cos she scared she drop.. then i light.. and guess what.. we missed out on 2 candles.. so only had 15 candles on the cake.. 15 years old.. she downyeared.. from 16 to 15.. haha..
roy was still getting the attendence for yc pool party.. then i lit the candles already.. and they were melting fast.. then i was made by becca and marianne to walk out from behind the chairs backwards to hide the cake for a little while longer.. ... later really drop.. then we moved to the side.. *lights out* happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to ivy, happy birthday to you.
roy continued you were borned in the zoo, you were... he sang wrongly.. super funny.. haha.. then.. blow candle.. make wish.. then cut and eat cake.. continued with admin..
started to unroll the bandage.. 'cos i'm not supposed to be injured.. cannot go home with the bandage still on..
yup.. becca had to go to her uncle's house.. so i went home with cecilia.. i was super tired.. so didn't really talk much on the way...
yupz..

cassie and gene technically screwed the surprise up.. gene passed the voucher to ivy.. we didn't know that.. and cassie smsed ivy on having a nice time for the party and hope she liked the vouchers.. becca was like asking why she have such a brainless person as a best friend.. eh.. saint andrews junior college leh.. 8 pointer leh.. 4 H2s leh.. not anyhow say people brainless..
haha.. next birthday coming up.. germaine heng.. end of sec2 camp.. i'm in logs.. so can settle everything.. hope becca, ivy, corde, cheryl, joann and me can come up something big for her.. try to replace the missing hole made by someone.. lighten up eh?
